iWebcamera lets you ditch your webcam for an iPhone

Drahtwerk's iWebcamera iPhone app was actually released late last week but it, ironically, only worked with a Windows-based PC. The company has now finally rectified that situation with some Mac drivers, however, which will at last let use your iPhone as a webcam for your Mac just like you've always wanted. TinyChat Offers Chat Sessions Controlled by Twitter Usernames [Chat]

Now the site's offering a way to create chat rooms through your Twitter username. You can broadcast the chat availability through a public tweet, or just direct the folks you want to let in to something like tinychat.com/twitter/yourusername , where they can also sign in with their Twitter credentials. Handy stuff for tech-y types looking to connect from time to time. [via TechCrunch ] More

Brizzly Adds Themes, iPad Interface, and Webcam Photos [Updates]

Brizzly, the web-based Twitter and Facebook client that's like a much more useful Twitter web site, no longer forces you accept light green as a predominant color (which seems inspired by the maker's office space ). In addition to adding four Themes, with more to come, Brizzly has launched an iPad interface, and lets users quickly take a picture with their webcam for posting. There's also emoji detection—for very, very productive tweeting, of course. [ Thing Labs ] More
